This site concentrates on affordable art and antiques that are rarely exhibited at our gallery, but, at your request, can be seen at antique shows. We have recently reduced prices on many pieces by an average of 40% . The only ones not marked down are part of our gallery show, here on the web at reasonable prices. 

Our gallery Davenport and Shapiro Fine Arts, located off the parking lot in East Hampton on the walkway to Newtown Lane, focus on American Impressionism, tonalism, early modernism, abstract expressionism (Ab Ex) and WPA art, as well as sculpture and sculptural ceramics. We work with collectors and decorators and offer art consultation services, framing, conservation and restoration services.

Our middle name has always been Eclectic. After almost 30 years concentrating on Asian and Pacific Art, concentrating on Japan, we turned our focus to American Post War Ceramics. Over time, we built up a large inventory of 20th Century paintings as well and travelled the Antique Circuit. We are now scaling back and concentrating on our gallery and hence are offereing truly wholesale prices on listed artists in multiple genres. We usually can provide a detailed biography of the artists and artisans.
