Tall sculpture with Liberty Dollars

    

     A very important pioneer of American Studio ceramics. Participated in the Ceramic Nationals in 1954, 1956,& 1958. Winner of Art Institute of Chicago Designer-Craftsman Award in 1957. AIC gave him a rare solo show 1960-61. Burt was profiled in Ceramics Monthly in 1956 & 1966, and illustrated in 9 issues 1954-72. Permanent collection of the Everson.
