Tremendous presence and a powerful sense of history. The best thing about this piece is the ancient smithy repairs over and the fact all the wood appears to be original. This wheel came from a New York State barn in the Adirondacks, and is most likely pre-revolutionary war. This piece belonged to antique dealers who moved to California taking this with them. We brought it home.
