'Stay Here'William Wyman 1922-1980 27" x 7" x 5 Signed and dated on marble base. This evocative was exhibited and illustrated at the 23rd Ceramic Nationals where it was one of the most expensive and the most expensive by size in the show. It was exhibited in a gallery in Boston in 2002. William Wyman was best known and appreciated for incorporating his poetry into his sculptural ceramics. He was a beloved teacher at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts school and died suddenly and tragedically of a brain aneurism in 1980. His work is rare and hard to find.
