Tree House - Wall Sculpture

Gerry Williams

26.5" x 12.5"
ca. 1970
We currently have 11 works by this artist, each radically different in pottery and porcelain of varying composition. Not surprising, since he promoted all types of studio artists and styles from the very beginning of the post-war ceramic revolution in this country.

New Hampshire resident Gerry Williams is a nationally and internationally recognized master craftsman, teacher, lecturer author and founder of The Studio Potter, a nonprofit, membership organization and editor of The Studio Potter, a journal about the aesthetics, technology, history of pottery and the personal lives of ceramic artists. In 1998 he was appointed as New Hampshires first Artist Laureate. He and his wife founded Phoenix Pottery in Goffstown, NH in 1951.
